Pastors Panel and Workshop Speakers
TOM JOYCE
Tom serves as Pastor of Discipleship and
Family at Immanuel Bible Church in Springfield, VA. He is a graduate of the
US Naval Academy, holds a master’s degree from Harvard, is a retired Navy captain
and Top Gun Aviator, and served over twenty-five years in the U. S. Navy, including
surviving the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on the Pentagon, which
included a direct hit on his office.
AARON KRAFT
Aaron has been the senior pastor of Franconia
Baptist Church in Alexandria VA since 2008. He holds a BA in Biblical
Studies from Washington Bible College and Master of Theology degree with from Dallas
Theological Seminary. Before entering full-time ministry, he was an executive in a
dotcom startup and later worked for AOL Time Warner and Humana Insurance Co. as
an information systems analyst.
MIKE McKINLEY
Mike has been the senior pastor of Guilford Baptist Church in Sterling VA since
2005. He holds a BA in Religion and
Classics from The George Washington University and an MDiv from Westminster
Theological Seminary. In 2004, he joined the pastoral staff at
Capitol Hill Baptist Church as a church planter. He’s authored Church Planting Is for Wimps; Am I Really a
Christian and Passion: How Christ’s Final Day Changes Your Every Way.
MIKE MINTER
Mike
has been in full-time ministry for nearly forty years serving as founding
pastor and teaching pastor at Reston Bible Church in Reston VA. He attended the
Naval Academy and has a degree from Old Dominion University in Political
Science and the Florida Bible College. Mike authored the book A Western Jesus: The
Wayward Americanization of Christ and the Church.
DR. JOHNNY PARKER
Johnny has served as a pastor at First Baptist Church of Glenarden in Landover, MD, McLean Bible Church in McLean VA and chaplain of the Washington Redskins. He is an executive coach and author of "Exceptional Living" and "Renovating Your Marriage”. He holds a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University and a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University.
On Tuesday morning of the Conference, these highly respected pastors will be part of an informal, candid panel discussion about the job, struggles, challenges, and hopes of pastors and how they see the roles of men and their ministry to them. Afterwards they will each present a workshop on specific manhood topics.
